I bought this device to do cross over stuff. It sends the 8 HD signal to 8 different devices. This one works perfectly. It also does so more than I have time to set up, I plan to set everything up, but I will need a few more months to run CAT-6 wire over the house that can take me months. Since, what I am using it for works, there is no reason to believe when I set everything up, it will continue to work. That is why I gave it 5 stars. The only question is the cost, but I quess you get what you pay for
