With the old HD rear projection tv I thought I'd be able to use it to use Chromecast. And it kinda works. The Chromecast is visible on the network and I can cast to it, I just can't see a video or hear audio. Not a big deal as it was just a lark to see if it would work and I didn't reduce any stars for this.
The real reason I got this was to have my PS4 and Chromecast hooked up to the smart tv without having to unplug the old device and plug in the new device. It works exactly as planned and is easy to switch between the two. I did notice some degradation in the quality while watching Amazon Prime through the PS4. Randomly the audio and video cuts out. Just long enough so that you lose focus on what you're watching. If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars. - Very useful product Review by Joe Woltman

I bought this since my monitor only has one HDMI port that supports 4K, I use with my PS 4 Pro and Xbox 1. both system register 4k @60hz while using the switch. I chose this particular switch strictly for this reason and it delivers flawlessly. I only turn on one system at a time and it automatically switch inputs from what I can tell. if I need to switch one device to another, I just need to use the remote control. Great little device for those with limited 4K ports while wanting to use 4K @ 60hz.Price Value Quality
